The name
We named this design The Cypress because of the ancient, powerful symbolism held within its namesake. Throughout history, the cypress tree has stood as a universal symbol of the soul’s spiritual journey, representing mourning, remembrance, and the transition between life and eternity.
Known for its soaring upward growth, the cypress bridges the gap between the earth and the heavens, embodying a timeless strength that provides comfort in moments of grief. Because the living tree is an evergreen, it symbolises the enduring nature of memory, reminding us that while the physical form returns to the soil, a person’s legacy remains forever alive.
